Senior Python/C++ Developer

Na jakie zadania (obowiązki)?

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join our international team and work on one of the major projects by Wargaming. The project is a multiplayer shooter inspired by historical events and conflicts of the mid-20th century.
The primary tech stack includes Python and C++ as an additional. Experience with Rust would be an advantage. In this role, you will focus on developing core and meta gameplay features, including systems that drive the game’s progression, player engagement, and key in-game mechanics. Your work will directly impact the overall gameplay experience, ensuring it is dynamic, scalable, and highly engaging for players.

Jakiego specjalisty szukamy?

• 5+ years of professional experience coding Python

• 2+ years of experience with C++

• Gamedev experience (it is really important)

• Languages: English B2, Russian B2

• Familiarity with PostgresSQL (Project uses CitusDB)

• Experience in designing and building large-scale and high-performance systems

• Understanding asynchronous programming (Asyncio)

• Understanding of data structures and algorithms

• Experience with AWS stack

• Experience with K8s

• Familiarity with Protobuf

• Familiarity with Rust (Optional)

Preferred skills:

• Huge experience in Python 3 with using of Asyncio

• Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration tools, specifically

• Kubernetes (k8s) and Docker.

• Experience with Actor Frameworks

• Experience with highload using Python stack

• Understanding of working with RPC protocol

• Experience with designing of high-performance systems

• Being comfort with C++ stack to work with client integrational layer

• Having an opportunity to dive into several features developed using Rust
