Network Engineer

Our client is searching for an experienced Network Engineer to join their team in Aalborg, Denmark or remotely.

They are soon starting development of a new AAA title. They are deeply passionate about old-school action games, and their passion for the genre runs deep in their DNA. At their office in Aalborg, Denmark they are currently close to 40 people, and they have approx. 120 people working for us around the world. 

They have many different tasks to dive into, so there will definitely be something exciting no matter what you are interested in, and as long as you reach your deadlines, they are flexible about what you work with. 

They are about to embark on a journey, developing a next generation action game, built on new technology (Unreal Engine 5), based on a very well known IP and they would love to bring you on board.

● Development, implementation and improvement of networking game systems
● Advanced network programming 
● Creating and maintaining network-oriented documentation 
● Optimization of network performance 

Jakiego specjalisty szukamy?

You're probably a computer scientist or software engineer. If not, then you have several years of programming experience. Regardless of your background, you have deep knowledge of advanced mathematics and algorithms, just as you have extensive knowledge of Unreal Engine. You probably have 3 years of experience in the gaming industry with some published titles, specifically shipped, at least one multiplayer game (in any engine). You have worked with network programming either in the gaming industry or another industry. 

It is important that you are well-versed with Unreal, and it is a plus if you have experience with consoles. We work mainly in C ++ programming so we expect you to be on top of this.
