Environment Concept Artist

We are looking for an experienced and ambitious environment concept artist who will help elevate our visual development to a new level. This key role will bring to life a wide range of areas and elements, including location design, props, vehicles, storytelling, mood boards, and props.

We are creating a multiplayer third-person shooter for PC and consoles in a sci-fi setting, with a focus on esports. The game is being developed on Unreal Engine 5. We aim to create a AAA-level product capable of bringing innovation to the gaming industry.

Na jakie zadania (obowiązki)?

• Develop locations based on narrative descriptions: atmosphere, sketches, drawings, and renders for 3D representation.

• Collaborate with the art director and other creative professionals to develop the game's visual direction.

• Work closely with the level designer and level artist.

• Create detailed original concepts for locations, vehicles, and environmental elements.

Jakiego specjalisty szukamy?

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the gaming industry in a similar position.

• Strong understanding of design, silhouette, proportions, structure, lighting, staging, color, materials, composition, perspective, and conveying a clear emotional tone.

• Experience in developing locations for PC and console games.

• Passion for games and a keen eye for detail.

• Portfolio or personal projects showcasing work similar in style to our project. References: Overwatch, Arcane, Valorant.

• Ability to take constructive criticism and be open to iterative work.
  

Nice to have:

• Classical art education.

• Basic knowledge of a 3D package.
