Volmi — A Virtuos Studio is an outsourcing company that specializes in game development and game content creation. Over the past 9 years, we have successfully completed over a thousand different projects and have gained considerable experience in creating 2D and 3D art, as well as developing turnkey games. Since 2022, we have been a part of Virtuos, the world’s leading game developer, and have become the first Virtuos studio in Eastern Europe.

In particular, we have contributed to the development of popular games such as Diablo 2: Resurrected, Metro Exodus, Sniper: Ghost Warrior Contracts 2, Smite, Paladins, Gwent: The Witcher Card Game, and Marvel Snap. Therefore our team creates high-end gaming content and games for various Mobile, PC, Console, and VR projects.

На які завдання (обов'язки)?

• Design and create visually appealing visual effects (e.g., explosions, spells, environment effects, UI VFX and animations) that elevate the gameplay experience. 

• Optimize VFX for mobile platforms to ensure high performance without compromising quality. 

• Collaborate with game designers and developers to ensure effects integrate seamlessly with gameplay mechanics and art direction. 

• Prototype VFX quickly to visualize ideas and iterate based on feedback. 

• Stay updated on the latest tools, techniques, and trends in VFX for mobile games. 

• Work with Unity and other tools to implement VFX directly into the game. 

• Maintain a consistent art style while ensuring variety and creativity in VFX designs.

Якого професіонала шукаємо?

• Proven experience as a VFX Artist in the gaming industry, preferably with casual cartoon mobile games. 

• Strong portfolio showcasing VFX work, including particle systems, shaders, and real-time effects. 

• Proficiency in VFX tools such as Unity Particle System, Amplify shader editor and Shader Graph. 

• Knowledge of shader creation and optimization for mobile platforms. 

• Familiarity with 2D/3D software such as Photoshop, After Effects, Blender, or Maya. 

• Strong understanding of casual cartoon art style, color theory, composition, and timing. 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines. 

• Understanding color coding principles and animation principles. 

• Understanding the principles of stylization of VFX (casual mobile games). 

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills. 

• At least A2 English level.

Will be a plus:

• Scripting experience.

• Excellent knowledge of color theory, fundamentals of physics of light and composition.

• Passion for video games.
