Lead Artist (Environment)

We are Belka Games. Our company is one of the 20 highest-grossing game developers in Europe according to data.ai, and our audience recently surpassed an important milestone of 110 million players. 

This is just the beginning—more is yet to come! That's why we're looking for a Lead Artist (Environment) to join the team for our new mid-core project.

In just a short space of time, our project team has grown from a start-up to a major professional unit. We're quickly testing out new ideas and implementing new technologies while adhering to transparent road maps, achieving clear KPIs, and making data-based decisions.

The project itself is a pioneer in its niche, combining an exciting adventure with a storyline as well as idle and battle mechanics.

This mid-core project with stylized graphics in a postapocalyptic setting will definitely let you unleash your potential, allowing your professional and creative skills to shine.

На які завдання (обов'язки)?

• Implementing the vision for the art direction

• Being responsible for creating locations and leading this process from mock-ups to finished scenes

• Finding technical solutions to implement new ideas

• Conducting quality control of completed tasks and giving professional feedback to artists

• Managing the team and making plans for its development

Якого професіонала шукаємо?

• Up-to-date portfolio (you don't have to post this to open sources)

• High qualification in creating 3D models with a variety of approaches to creating meshes and texturing

• Plenty of experience creating and developing locations

• Experience building scenes in Unity 3D and configuring lighting

• Ability to develop and improve pipelines for the creation of 3D models and locations

• Skills in creating 2D concepts

• Experience managing an art team: setting and optimizing processes, people management, and team members' professional development
