Grooming Artist

Strikerz Inc. is a videogame-creating collective and an international gaming brand launched in 2016 by a handful of people involved with online football. Currently, there are 300+ of us spread over 5 regional offices in various locations across Europe or working from home (yes, we love it too). Strikerz Inc. is the force behind the UFL, the ongoing online football videogame revolution. Being fans, we aim at offering our players an unprecedented gaming experience available on all major platforms.

На какие задачи (обязанности)?

We are not only creating new players, but we are always looking for modern and highly effective ways to improve existing models, materials, and textures to provide our audience with the most realistic football experience.

Responsibilities:

• Creating hairstyles according to references, conveying the characteristics of hairstyles. Attention to hair growth lines and adherence to polycount.

• Close interaction with artists to achieve maximum similarity with players.

• Understanding the principles of constructing hairstyles, control so that there are no penetrations between the patches.

• Control and accuracy of geometry (no empty UV shells, non-manifold geometry, cut patches, etc.)

• Preparation and export/import of assets.
  

Какого профессионала ищем?

Skills and requirements:

• Experience with game engines (Unreal Engine 4/5 required);

• Maya, Adobe Photoshop, XGen, GsCurveTool.

Nice to have:

• Experience in simulating card and strand hair

• Experience with TortoiseSVN, Bitbucket, Sourcetree, Jira, Confluence
