The Role

Hello Neighbor is our most famous franchise which includes five video games with over 60 million installations

We are looking for a VFX artist for the Hello Neighbor 2 project.

Hello Neighbor 2 is a Stealth Horror Game where you’re being stalked by a mysterious creature as you try to track down Mr. Peterson (The Neighbor) who has disappeared after the events of the first game. Play against an advanced, self-learning AI that tracks and adapts to your every move.

What are you working on?
  • The name of the project(s): Hello Neighbor 2
  • At what stage of the project(s)? Beta version
  • Genres: Adventure, Puzzle
  • Platforms: PC, Console
For which tasks (responsibilities)?
  • Creating VFX in Unreal Engine 4 and Houdini;

    Close collaboration with the art team, art director, and technical artist to maintain the unified style and technical characteristics of the project.

What kind of professional are we looking for?
  • Experience as a VFX artist in the gaming industry for two years;

  • Experience with UE4 from 2 years

  • Experience with Cascade and Niagara

  • Ability to create materials for VFX inside UE4;

  • Knowledge of the 3D graphics system - from modeling to integration and customization in UE4;

  • Knowledge of any of the 3D packages: Blender, Autodesk Maya, Autodesk 3ds Max;

  • Ability to work in any of the 2D packages (Photoshop, etc.).

Desirable skills which will be a plus:

  • Understanding the features of optimizing gaming effects under different platforms;

  • Ability to create and offer new technical and artistic solutions;

  • Experience with Houdini;

  • Experience in creating and working with hand paint materials and effects.
