C++ Game Developer (Remote/Office)

Fractured Byte is a game development studio whose experience involves work on titles such as Borderlands: The Legendary Collection and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 for Nintendo Switch. We are a team of experienced professionals, focused on video game development for РC and consoles.

What are you working on?

• Platforms: PC, Console

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

• Implementation of additional subsystems to improve stability and performance

• Platform integration including implementation of platform-specific requirements and functionality (local play, split-screen, online saves, haptic feedback, etc.)

• CPU stream profiling and optimization

• Render stream profiling and optimization

• Memory usage profiling and optimization

• Low-level game engine optimizations

• Bug fixing

What kind of professional are we looking for?

• Strong C++ skills

• Strong knowledge of OOP, Multithreading, Vector Algebra, and Serialization

• Familiarity with common algorithms, data structures, and patterns
  

A strong candidate has:

• Experience working with game engines (UE4 & UE3 is highly desirable)

• Knowledge of Networking / Multiplayer and VCS

• Familiarity of game world structures

• Strong English communication (written and verbal)
