Unreal Developer

Values Value is a recruiting company with expertise in IT and game development. We are currently looking for an experienced Unreal Developer for a MilTech startup. The company is building an innovative real-time safety and situational awareness product for the US public safety sector. The product has been featured in national US media (CNN, MSNBC, WSJ, and others) and has been demonstrated to major industry players and government stakeholders.

На які завдання (обов'язки)?

• Develop and maintain client-side features within the Unreal Engine 5 application;

• Take ownership of one functional direction (e.g., third-party API/SDK integration such as video communication) – from technical research through implementation;

• Communicate technical requirements, risks, blockers, and estimates clearly and proactively;

• Collaborate with the Product Manager and the System Architect;

• Work within and alongside an application that integrates with mobile, web, and backend systems developed by other teams.

Якого професіонала шукаємо?

• 5+ years of professional programming experience in the games industry;

• Experience shipping at least one title on the Windows platform;

• Strong C++ coding principles and practices, with experience in Unreal Engine 5;

• Solid understanding of game architecture, algorithms, and multi-threaded programming;

• Strong proficiency in 3D vector math, matrices, and linear algebra;

• Strong debugging skills and experience resolving complex technical issues;

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies;

• English and Ukrainian language proficiency.

Desirable:

• Familiarity with Visual Studio and tooling pipelines that enhance developer workflows;

• Experience designing and implementing physics, assets, tools, and UI.
