VFX Artist (only candidates from Ukraine)

What are you working on?

• The name of the project(s): VFX Artist

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

• Create/support custom shaders

• Help in the development of the game with VFX creation, shaders development, rendering and lighting

• Work closely with art and technical teams to create beautiful and well performing VFX using materials (both built-in and custom) and particle system utilizing provided art assets.

• Update, improve or request art assets in correct and optimal delivery format to create new VFX

What kind of professional are we looking for?

• Proficiency in shader authoring

• Experience in writing shaders for mobile Unity projects

• Experience working with particle system in Unity

• Knowledge of the render pipeline and how best to achieve custom visuals

• Knowledge of performance profiling with a focus on rendering and shading

• Passionate about video games

• Ability to demonstrate creativity and technical innovation within the constraints of a platform

What is important for us in a person?

• Experience in animating

• Experience with optimising mobile games

• Experience in creating complex custom VFX

• Experience working with Houdini, Nuke or Blender

• Unity's universal render pipeline

• Knowledge of effects and post processing

• Basic knowledge of C# or other scripting languages

• Experience with Substance Designer and Substance Painter

• Experience with PhotoShop and 3D modeling tools.

• Experience with texture generation.

• Experience using Git

• Highly skilled at communicating issues to varied audiences: managers, engineers, artist
