What kind of professional are we looking for?
3+ years of experience as a 3D animator in the gaming industry
- Must be proficient with 3d package including Maya (3ds Max), MotionBuilder
- Understanding of realistic animation principles and human anatomy
- Able to work from reference and adapt the work to particular style
- Able to work with and modify mocap animation
- Experience with technical aspects of rigging and skinning characters for animation
- Rig, skin and animate game assets (characters, environments, UI, etc.)
- Import and set up animated characters / assets into the engine (Unity, Unreal – depends on the project)
- Work with the production artists and developers
- Working knowledge of Unreal or Unity will be a plus
- Attention to details and creative problem solving
- a passion for games
